Portugal: Marrying a Portuguese Guy:

dual citizenship does exist - but the portuguese are much much more bureaucratic then americans. I have a eurpean passport (german) and I live in the US right now - part time in Portugal with a Brazil/American Husband. It has been a challenge - but worth it!!!

Global Expat Forum: moving to Portugal:

We are in the process of moving to Portugal. Our experience with the moving company has been awful - in fact we still dont have our stuff, 5 months later - but thats a whole different story. We are actually moving in stages, starting out only part time and then in a few years we want to be there full time and work. We would love to hear from other people and their experiences and any advise would be great also

Germany: New Americans in Nürnberg/Erlangen Area:

Hello I grew up in Nuernberg, with an american father and a german mother. We (my brazilian husband and I) now live most of the time in the US, but are still part of the time in Europe (I will be there again beginning of june) I would be happy to answer questions and help out. Nuernberg is a fun city with lots to do

Portugal: Medication Question:

Hi, we are also in the process of moving to Portugal within the next few months. We actually did find a place during our last visit in Alcobaca (about 100 kilometers north of Lisbon). We have not met many expats during that visit and would love to hook up with people from all around the world.
