Germany: apple picking and autumn activities:
I am looking for places to go apple picking in Germany this fall. I mean good, ol' fashioned apple picking, American style, basket, bushel and trees.
As long as we're on topic, any other favorite activities which take advantage of autumn scenery/foliage/etc?
vielen Dank!

Germany: Teaching English As A Foreign Language In Berlin:
I taught English as FL in Munich at a place called "Wall Street Institute." Despite the name, this is not a school for business English, rather for general, conversational English. It is a franchise, meaning there are branches all over the world, 4 of which are in Berlin. a TEFL certificate or similar is helpful to get a job, but it really isn't necessary, as all of the lessons are preprepared and teachers most of the time put in quite literally NO extra initiative and the pace is generally relaxed and friendly. It's not the most stimulating job (because everythign is already thought out for you), but it's perfectly fine if your goal is to have some classroom experience and live in Germany and have a bonafide life outside your job.
I recommend just showing up at a branch of WSI (don't even bother calling ahead), and see if you can finagle your and/or your resume's way to the service manager. To find a TEFL job, timing and serendipity are everything.
Feel free to contact me with more specific questions.

Hello,
I am looking to visit historical and contemporary Jewish sites in Austria. Can anyone recommend a specific tour group/package which specializes in this sort of itinerary? Or, are there tour packages from Austrian travel agencies which conduct German-language tours in Austria and Eastern Europe?
Thank you very much for your help.

Germany: Jobs in Heidelberg:
Hello,
anyone out there live in Heidelberg? I would like to move there and was wondering about the prospects for finding a job. I have worked in Germany previously as an English teacher, but ideally I would like to speak German on the job (am a fluent speaker).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Ava

Does anyone in the Munich area have a used woman's bicycle for sale? It doesn't have to be in the greatest condition.
