My family and I are living in Panama at this time. We are looking to purchase a pop-up trailer. Might anyone know of one available or someone who specializes in RV sales?
Panama: Coffee Questions::
Just moved to Panama and I am trying to find a place that supplies Coffee equipment. Trying to get my hands on a good coffee roaster. Might anyone know of a place in or near Panama City? Also, might anyone know where I can get my hands on some good "green" coffee beans?
Thanks,
Panama: 90 Excursion Trip:
My family and I are planning our first "leave the country before our 90 days is up" trip. Any advice on where to go? We are from the US but we would love to explore other places first. Any cheap flights to other countries or any places in Costa Rica worth driving to? The more unique and original the better for us.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Panama: 90 day visa change ?:
My wife and I just moved here and live in El Valle. The concern I have with the 90 and 180 debate is not at the airport nor the border. We have been here for a month and we have been stopped at routine traffic stops 3 times. All 3 times the police have been very polite and most helpful. I finally even asked one of them how long I can stay with the stamp in my passport and he quickly responded 90 days. And again, here lies my greatest concern. If I am stopped in the interior by a policeman that he believes or does not know the law is officially changes, he can make my life quite difficult. The interpretation of the law lies in the mind of the police enforcing it and that gives me pause about staying over 90 days until something official is published.
What are other peoples thoughts?
Panama: El Valle: Looking to connect:
My family and I are moving to El Valle next month and we are looking to connect with other families there or nearby. We are both educators by trade and will be homeschooling our 6 year old son. Would love to connect with other families with or without children.
Panama: Advice for buying a car:
Can anyone offer any advice in buying a car in Panama? We are looking for by a older 4x4. Nothing too fancy but to get us around. Also, might someone know of a mechanic in Panama City that I can hire for a day to take around to give potential cars/trucks a good look over?
Panama: Looking for a used car dealership (Hyundai Galloper):
My family and I are moving to Panama next month and would like to purchase a used Hyundai Galloper. Does anyone know of any for sale or can anyone recommend a good car dealership or salesman in Panama City?
Panama: IPHONE AND IPAD in Panama????:
My wife and I are moving to Panama in a few months and while we are looking forward to leaving our hectic and commercialized lifestyle back in the US, I am having a hard time kicking my IPhone addiction. Can anyone recommend a service and data provider for the IPhone in Panama? What is the monthly cost? Also, has any used an IPad in Panama with a data plan? I am assuming it will work well with Wi-Fi but very interested in if anyone provides a data plan for it.
Thanks for your responses.
Panama: Mobil Broadband Internet:
My wife and I are planning on moving to Panama in the next few months. We own our own business back here in the states and all we really need is a good phone connection and internet to work. My question is: does anyone know if there is mobile broadband internet available in Panama? Life will be much easier if I can have my laptop on the go! We will be in the City and/or up and down the canal zone most of the time. If so, who is the provider and how much a month? Thanks for your responses.
