Nepal: Mountain bike for sale:
I have an Everest brand mountain bike for sale that has been used for less than two months, so it's in almost-new condition. The bike has been great for getting around town and exploring around the valley a little. Equipped with a rack, kickstand, bell, lock, and water bottle cage. I also have a Prowell brand (from Thailand) helmet, also used for less than two months, no damage and still in new condition.
Rs 5,000 for the bike, 1,500 for the helmet, or 6,000 for both together - or best offer.
I'm in the Jawalakhel area if you want to come see it, and I can send you a picture if you want.
Nepal: need roommate for 2-br apt in Pulchowk:
I am a graduate student from the US in Nepal for the summer and I have finally found a beautiful furnished apartment. Only catch is that it's a 2-bedroom and I can't afford it on my own. 40,000 R per month (20,000 each) includes everything - hot water, wifi, etc - and it's fully furnished with a kitchen, TV, even a washing machine. I'm only here until August 6th but you could stay longer and find a new roommate after I leave. Let me know if you are interested, just reply to this post.
Nepal: Apartment to rent or flatshare:
Hi James,
I'm in Kathmandu for the summer, coming from the US, and also looking for a room or apartment to rent or share - have you had any luck finding anything? Anyone else reading this have any advice on apartment-hunting in Kathmandu?

Nepal: American Expat in Kathmandu:
Hey randomname,
I'm also a grad student here in Nepal for a while, also from the US, and looking for a place to live as well - wondering if you have had any luck in your search? I am not here for a very long time, just until August, and I've been staying in a guest house but am looking around for an apartment for the rest of my time if I can find one. If you're still looking for roommates, or just have suggestions, that would be great!
