I am a "born again" christian looking to retire and get involved in doing the "works" of the ministry somewhere overseas.I am not set on one particular country but generally interested in central america.It would be great if I could teach/train people who want to learn a trade. I would also enjoy teaching biblical basics to new converts,people who are hungry to know more about God.

Do your homework!! Read,study,ask questions then read some more.Don't be in a hurry because what looks initially like a paradise isn't neccessarily so

Nicaragua: Are there any engglish speaking spirit-filled churches:

I am contemplating moving to Nicaragua as an retiree.The most important part of my life is my walk with Jesus so finding a church would be #1 on the priority list. Any suggestions appreciated. Looking forward to exploring the great outdoors!

For 802mark,thank you for all your insite. I now feel reasonably comfortable pursuing my pensionado visa and I appreciate your knowledge of the various areas of Panama that i will explore. I am also interested in retiring to Boquete.Can I live on $1200 S.S. ?I have been a multi-craft maint. mechanic and was wondering if it is possible to earn some cash on the side fixing "things"?
