Hello. I'm pretty much in the same boat. I moved to Volendam (about 35 min from Amsterdam) at the end of September 2010. I too am taking a course to learn Dutch (in Amsterdam) 2X per week and I would love to have someone to practice with. I don't have a lot to do during the day so I can meet pretty much any time. Netherlands: Shipping belongings to the Netherlands from Canada:

I need to find out what the best/least expensive way is to ship my belongings from Canada to the Netherlands. I'm hoping to be able to send books, artwork, clothing and some small pieces of furniture, if it is not too outrageously priced. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
