Panama: Gay Women in Panama? Safe?:

You'll be fine - you should expect what you would visiting Any Town, USA.

Panama: visit to Panama:

I can't speak of areas outside Panama City regarding beach areas (except maybe Coronado) - but within Panama City (and depending on your budget) Costa del Este is what you'd see and feel living in Miami. Great roads and infrastructure - though pricey. Another area is Punta Pacifica and Punta Patilla. Very modern and close to everything. (It's high rise living though - not sure if that's your taste). Hope this helps. Coronado would also be condo/high rise.

Panama: Housekeeper:

Where would I find a part-time housekeeper for my house in Panama? They do not need to speak English.

Panama: Looking for a used car dealership (Hyundai Galloper):

Looking for a specific vehicle will not be as easy as you think - I would be open to more types of vehicles for a smoother transition. With that said, go to encuentra24.com and search your heart away. I might be rare, but I purchased mine on craigslist. Either way, the internet is your best first. I would also find someone local who can take you around because its a very different process here. Everyone knows that dealers aren't the most honest people, and unfortunately they're worse here in Panama.

Panama: Satellite Radio:

To the best of knowledge, no.

Panama: Carwash (machine) in Panama?:

Lots of places/people who will clean your car - but a place thats a machine and fast?

Panama: Kinko's like place in Panama?:

I need to print large copies of some pictures to frame and put up - anyone know where I could do this in Panama?

Panama: Driving from Panama City to Boquete -:

Not a bad idea if you're ok with the long road trip and understand that you won't be able to go 70mph the whole time. Make sure you have your passports as there are border checks. Also, there is nothing passed Santiago so make sure you get fuel and eat in that city before you keep going off to David.

Panama: Carpet vs Tile:

Tile. Because of the heat, most have tile with area rugs. Having wall-to-wall carpeting isn't cheap in Panama. (I'd argue its the ONLY more expensive item then the US.)

Panama: Was told I didn't need a Tourist Card/Visa at Tocumen:

The airport was right - all you need is your stamp in your passport. It has the date, which will be valid for 90 days. If police were to check you (which they could if you were driving, aka Arizona) - they're looking for the stamp. No problems at all. The tax was already included in you CO airfare. When you leave, you won't have to do anything either. Every book and reading material that you've read on Panama is a few years old, which is why they don't include this new immigration law.
