Russia: im married to a russian how does this affect visa:

You need to apply for a green card before your visa expires but that is a scavenger hunt. I did it. Your passport needs to be officially translated and you need all of your wife's documents( housing passport etc. and take to OVIR I think.

Russia: moving to St. Petersburg - August 2010:

Anything you can't just absolutely live without! They have everything in Russia now. Anything that you have to have made especially for you (medicine) and a very warm coat, boots, gloves and hat! It would be better to buy clothing there because you will fit in better and it is made for the cold.
