Egypt: Maadi v. Kattemaya Heights:

Hi I haven't been here long but I work in Kattemayya Heights and live in Maadi - they are a long way from each other. Maadi is very walkable, lots of shops, etc. Kattameyya is very new, long way from shops, you need a car. There are gated communities in Kattamayya. CAC is in Maadi and walkable or short cab ride from anywhere in the area. Not so from Kattamayya. Lots of kids in Maadi as well. Hope this helps. R
