Mexico: Gringo work:

Thanks for the insight! What kind of jobs do you see gringos doing down there? Restaurant jobs, timeshares, real estate? I'm not sure....does anybody have any examples...And what about work in surrounding areas such as Nayarit or Guadalajara do you see gringos doing? Thanks again!

Mexico: Relocation:

Hello, since I keep getting the standard pro quo answer I'll narrow my ????? Does any know of someone not retiring but just relocating or moving to Mexico and actually finding work?....ie..buying a business, a 9-5, and successfully living in Mexico, that was not sponsored by an outside source. And if so, what are the possibilities, and what kind of biz or jobs are available, besides teaching English. Thanks again!

Mexico: Cosmetologist:

I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I'm wondering what I need to do in Mexico to continue my career. Do I need a license, does mine transfer... etc???? Thank you :)

Mexico: Jobs in pv?:

Hello again! Thanks for the responses!! I've been kind of curious as to what the real j.o.b market is really like? You read so many topics/articles regarding " how hard it is to find a job!" Personally, if your a successful person here you'll be successfully there, because there you are! You know what I mean.... "It doesn't matter where you go, cause there you are!" Most readings just seem so negative. So I guess my questions is....is there an actual job market, and if so if your not "sponsored" by an outside company, can you really expect to find a job an get the required visa to work if your willing to get after it!!!! Have a great day!!! Thanks again:)

Mexico: At the border:

Hello, I've been doing alot of research regarding moving our family to Mexico. I understand most of the "red tape". However I do have a couple of questions re: the border. So...1st, when you arrive at the border, do you say your just going on vacation? We will have both our cars, cat, dog, and less than 1000 dollars worth of belongs so we don't have to speak to a customs agent. But it seems obvious to me that we look like were moving. I'm not sure what to say, so we don't get into all the red tape of proving income as we, my wife and I plan on working and obtaining a fm2 visa once we arrive at our destination? We greatly appreciate any response. Thanks!
