Costa Rica: I want the REAL truth:
KRKDOWD: I fully agreed with your statements: too much bs in this world! i've been to CR and as a latino man i'm i know my people pretty well so i believe the i can give you a couple of tips:
1- as to how much you need to survive in CR it all depends on 'location, location, location' and what you want or how you expect to live. $2,000/mo should be ok but remember medical expenses will hit you hart and you also need to buy a car and find a decent school for your kid. Bilingual school are not common in Latam.
DONOT MOVE TO CR IF:
A-you guys feel you can't live without Wal-Mart,
B-If you need things to be done 'pronto'(quick)
C- strongly recommend you learn the basics of the language.
D-YOUTUBE: 'why you should NOT move to the Philippines'. Of course you are not moving to the Philippines but simply imagine that instead of "Philipines' it reads 'CR' and you'll get the message.
Wish the best of lucks.

Ecuador: 100 dollar bills:
take $20s but mostly ones fives and tens. anything over $20s you are going to have problems with. ATM in banks and malls are pretty safe. just be overall cautious and you should be ok
