Australia: Any other Sydney newcomers out there?:
Hi Maran,
I work in N. Sydney and my husband and I live in Cremorne. I am from the US (DC area) and have lived here for about 2.5 years (so not really a newcomer). I am on the board of the American Society in Sydney and would like to invite you to check out our organisation. We are having a Fourth of July picnic in July (actually on the 6th) and it should be fantastic (I'm recruiting volunteers also). We have casual cocktails on the first Friday each month - June 7 at the Hilton on Pitt Street this month. Our website is www.americansociety.com.au - I have a discount coupon for $25 off the joining fee if you are interested in joining our group. If you'd like to give me a call to ask any questions, etc. my work number is 8923 0004 or home # 9908 4715.
