majority of my bookings, for La Ronda condo in Quito, came from Craiglist, nothing evil about that: people inquire about terms and timing, provide some of their info, I answer,if they agree, they deposit money thru PayPal and business is done to the mutual satisfaction.

From our forth floor and from the taxi's windows (or even from the bus or trolleys windows - it happens time to time), Ecuador looks totally different then from these headlines (lol)
Even when we walk with Sashka, the dog, or go to the barrio's market - it looks different.
These news are for ones who want to damage their mental health. I was at the middle of the news once or twice and I saw how everything was turned upside down and fabricated.

He probably learning from Bush and Obama administrations. Still, Correa is only humble student in comparison with USA administration.
The good news are - Ecuadorians are too manana (it is a compliment) to study and to implement with entusiasm.
This is what matters in this country and what counts for me, personally. Viva manana!!!!

What is so bad about "selling their services"?
I came to Ecuador, to Centro Historico Quito in 2006 after reading International Living, bought services of norteamericano real estate agent, living in CH Quito.
While the services werent perfect, he (norteamericano agent) did delivered what I wanted. International living did help me to make a decision. Gary Ph has blog at pro-ecuador.com I enjoy a lot, for example, like this one - http://blog.pro-ecuador.com/?p=3804
I don't like other Gary blog so I simply don't read it.
and you, small business' hateful people, what you accomplish, beside bad-mouthing everyone who try to make some money by providing services and info?
