Hi again out there in expat land. I'm new to the forum and this seems like a really nice way for the expat community to reach out to each other. Anyhow, I've been in Jeddah since '93 and I'm as lonely as a mouse in cat's house (never been good at metaphors). I'm really really really serious about finding a female companion just to share my life with. It is so hard in this country due to the social restrictions to meet a partner for potential love and companionship. I'm Black American, 49 yrs, live off compound, work as an English language instructor for a government agency and enjoy the simple pleasures of life (good food, good conversation, traveling - tickets on me!, just holding hands along the corniche. Like to hear from a serious minded lady in need of same. I'm dying of loneliness but don't want to return state-side

Although I have been living and working in Jeddah for quite some time, one of the most challenging aspects of life here is finding women to date or marry. If you don't live on a western compound (and even most of the ladies living there are married), you are basically in for one long lonely loveless existence. Anybody got any answers?

Hi all. Well, i hope this new found site is promising. As for me, I'm an English language instructor for a major government agency in Jeddah. Been in the Kingdom since 1993 and I'm really tired of being lonely. At 49, I'm really interested in a stable, serious, long-term intimate relationship with a level headed western (white or black) or Saudi lady. I'm Black American and lonely as you can only imagine. I don't drink or smoke or party. Left all those vices back in Jersey. Trying to live a clean and healthy lifesyle. Got airline tickets from my job so traveling to some nice places not a problem; just tired of doing it alone. Anyone out there feeling me on this one?
