Bahamas: American Thanksgiving in Nassau:
Good morning,
For all of the US Expats on this site, I am looking for a lovely person, couple or family with whom to enjoy this special American holiday this week. I am Bahamian and we generally don't do up Thanksgiving the way Americans do, but I thought it would be lovely to see and enjoy first hand what a real American Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Feast looks like for myself this year.
If anyone out there is willing to embrace a curious but also welcoming Bahamian woman to your Thanksgiving Celebration this week feel free to send me a private message on this site.
I look forward to the countless acceptances I will get to this humble request. lol.
Warmest Regards
Natasha

United Kingdom: Bahamian applying for a Brittish passport:
Hi there '
Im new to this Country's forum. Hope you guys can help me with some information.
I would like to know how I would find out if I qualify to apply for a Brittish passport.
Was born before Independence to parents who would have been Brittish subjects at the time and same for my grandparents.
Parents and all grandparents were born in the Bahamas.
Any lawyers, immigration consultants or workers out there feel free to respond to this post.
Even lay persons who might have heard of some Bahamian going through this same process and can help me with the answer to this conundrum, you are welcome to respond.
Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Canada: Moving to Canada:
I'm a Bahamian female, 45 looking into moving to Canada within the next 6 to 12 months, depending on the process time.
I would like advice on what's the nicest areas to check out temperature wise, and where the people are friendly and nice like we used to be here in the Bahamas.
I don't have a family so I will be moving alone and would like to make my decisions based on concrete viable information rather than taking my own stab in the dark approach.
I will be going to live and work so advise on which cities, provinces, towns are more welcoming or commonly hire non-Canadians in the financial services/banking fields.
Id appreciate any and all responses to this question as I am hopeful of going but still a bit hesitant since I don't know the place or anyone there.
Please help allay my fears.

Bahamas: Thanksgiving Celebrations in Bahamas:
Try the US embassy in Nassau Bahamas.
They have a website that should be helpful. Or else you could get the number and phone them directly.
Im sure they would know.
All the best
