Ecuador: Limit on baggage flying on Aerogal:

I had the same "no answer on hold" problem. Flying Quito to Manta, it is a 20Kg limit "in country" with 1% of highest fare per Kg over that. So...another 20k bag is $14.40 on a $72.00 fare?

I AM buying in Vistazul, just waiting for refurbishment to be completed before coming down. I,too, would be interestedin change of mind.
