Mexico: Have you relocated full time to Mexico?:

I am in transition still. Because of my brother who lives in Loreto, Baja - I travelled to Jalisco to investigate housing in Dec 2009. I purchased a property in Dec 09 and escrow closed in April 2010. My retirement plan is in place. I work for the local police in the USA and I will retire to Lake Chapala, Jalisco in 2014. I authored a blog dedicated to my experience with photos and stories. On my budget, I feel lucky to be able to own a home that will not incur tax hikes during my set income years. To participate in your program as an expat in transition ~ still taking the heat from friends who have not been, who have not seen, who believe that all of Mexico is corrupt and dangerous.
