Abeit some info of this article and third party reflection may be partially true. There are godzillions of plantation owners that have abandoned their properties out in the coastal areas of Ecuador where some land invadors have crept in. How many squatters do you know of that have secured higly paid lawyers to legally tranfer the titles to their land. Something not ever seen in the high lands.

Ecuador: Cuenca Condos:

Expats beware. Those expat realties will take you for a ride. How can they be competitive when they cant even speak the language correctly. You get what you pay for would be the oxymoron. Cuenca real estate, Cuenca condos, cuenca central are all in the same!
