Saudi Arabia: Long term "Hotel" accommodation:

The Marriott in Jeddah is quite nice. I have working friends who have stayed there for 4 and 5 months. If you decide be sure it comes with breakfast. Internet connect is a little up and down but everything else is fine

Laos: Registered Nurse:

We have lived in Thailand for the past 14 years and have been an x-pat for about 25 years. Currrently living in the USA and thinking about moving back to SEA and in particular Lao. Does any one have information on working in a lao hospital. My wife is a US Registered Nurse, speak Thai fluently plus a few other languages. We plan to move to Lao in 12 or 13. Any help greatly appreciated Hoseloader

Laos: jobs in vientiane:

Do you still maintain your RN, do you speak a foreign language. When was the last time you did patient care. my wife and I are also moving back to Asia and will most likely live in Lao, She is also an active registered nurse with language skills.

Qatar: reasonable salary?:

When some one offers you a contract to live and work overseas one must be very clear as to exactly what the contract is telling you. As an example you say that they will provide accommodations and car. What type of accommodations will they give you and what kind of car, a rental car, a used car. just to many questions and not enough answers Doha is very expensive to live. Clubs are expensive and food is expensive and $2000 bucks is not a lot of money. I would ask for 4K and see what they say. Good Ruck

Qatar: Single woman moving to Qatar:

There are some very simple rules when living and working in a Muslim Country. As a woman, never shake the hand of an Arab because he will not offer it to you. Never shake the left hand of any one. Never smile openly at an Arab or make eye contact. Always dress properly, when your in the clubs that different but remember you must leave the club. Try not to walk any where alone. A single woman walking alone is a sign of a prostitute. Be friendly to all but befriend very few. Very soon with all the new rail roads being proposed there will be thousands of workers. Stay away from them
