Ireland: Moving to Ireland:
To start, read the threads on this and other expat sites.
Biggest hurdle is citizenship, as visas are difficult to come by.
Dublin is EXTREMELY difficult to get housing; other urban areas too. Very high cost of living, and it rains A LOT!
Best wishes whatever you do.
Ireland: jobs:
Logically, no denocratic government can give preferential treatment to a certain country or ethnic group...that's discrimination!!!!
Some people in Ireland want Irish illegals in the U.S. to get preferential treatment. Democratic principles must prevail!!
Ireland: Obtaining Dual American/Irish citizenship:
You cando it yourself if you have access to one grandparent's birth certs.
I got mine about 22 years ago. My grandmother's birth was never registered (she was from an island where it was customary not to) but I was able to get her baptismal cert. The rest was getting marriage, death and birth certs to show the lineage. I personally don't see any.point to using an agency.
I wish you well!!
Ireland: Wet in Ireland?:
We are experiencing an unusually dry winter this year; definitely not the norm!!!
We sometimes have summers that are complete washouts.
Ireland: US/UK Family Fleeing to Ireland:
If I read your post coorectly, am not clear on how you could get Irish/EU ccitizenship with UK citizenship (unless born in Northern Ireland).
It's not easy to get permission to live here (read threads on this and other expat sites), and working here is even trickier.

Ireland: Citizenship through foreign births registry?:
Citizenship doesn't extend to great grandchildren. Only children and grandchildren are entitled to be registered foreign born Irish.
