Mexico: RV'ing and living in Mexico:

Hi Steve, Yes you will find in most of the country options that range form very specific RV facilities to some very interesting Hotels- Motels that will allow you to park on the property. This is a wonderful country to tour in an RV. www.gringosinpardise.com.mx

Mexico: Where to live in Mexico:

Wow, to live in such fear. I just moved 2 1/2 months ago form Tulum in Quintana Roo where we lives for 18 months - no crime and no problems. We moved to Ajijic on Lake Chapala for the better weather. We love it here!!! I drive to Guadalajara 2-3 times week on both highways into town from the area and even during the Pam Am Games, no problems at all here either. Id this place or any other perfect no. Check out the serious crime in the US in any city, period end of story. You must use common sense anywhere yo live in the world. Don't be scared off by alarmist postings. Yes their is a drug war here oh yea the US declared a war on drugs back in the 60's and they are still at war there too! You can live here for less 30-40% is fair depending upon your lifestyle or needs. Cheap medical care and its good care in fact much better than most in the US these days.

Mexico: FM 3 Visa vs Tourist Visa:

all expats who have their FM-2 or FM-3 are good for 12 months and can be renewed forever at this point. We expect to see a more streamlined process early next year where we all get a similar looking card as they phase out the old names

Mexico: Mexican auto insurance online:

I do live and work here full time. I've never met any company that gets excited by paying for claims. The company's we work with all have great A credit rated international backgrounds and we buy from them ourselves and we have local number to use within Mexico if you need to contact us. www.expatinsuranceplans.com If your looking for general info on living, moving or retiring to Mexico check out my blog here at www.gringosinparadise.com.mx

Global Expat Forum: Who wants to invest in agriculture???:

What do you have in mine? larrycrowson2010@gmail.com

Mexico: Waves in the Gulf:

Merida has no beaches? It's 30 miles from the Gulf you seem not to like now? Cancun is on the caribbean but is not so great for swimming either, if you go further south towards Tulum 45 miles south of Cancun you get the best beaches in the world but their not for surfing. You haven't clear what your objective is? Surfing? Try the Sayulita area on the Pacific or Puerto Escondidio

Mexico: Moving to Merida:

Yes, you can do just fine. you will enjoy the experience more if you pick up a little and you will without knowing it. You already know over 4,000 words that mean almost the same thing in both languages. Please check out my 2 blogs that will help you understand things better. www.gringosinparadise.com.mx and www.internationalinsurancereview.com If you want to call me I have a US number that rings into my office here. (971)322-4396 Thanks, Larry

Mexico: Mexico auto insurance:

I have been buying car insurance here for a few years now. As part of my blog site we kept getting this question so we decided to add it to our service. I used to sell insurance in Oregon long time ago. Please trust me when I tell you you we have vetted them all. The one on my site we all buy from. Their triple A credit rated, work in over 170 countries have excellant products and service and price is good too. www.gringosinparadise.com.mx One of the big pluses for this company is that they include a TRAVEL GUARD which god forbid if you ever need it you will be thrilled you have it. 24/7 live person on the phone to speak to the cops, army, jailer?? passport problems, etc. I wouldn't put them up if we didn't use them ourselves.
