Apparently, I have ended up in an impossible situation. The translation of my
A. My birth certificate and B. My marital status (divorced):
is
1st outlet from the population register in Sweden,
2nd translated by official translator;
3rd legalized by the Foreign Ministry
4th legalized by the Paraguayan Embassy in Stockholm
5th Legalized here in Paraguay
But this is not enough. The translation must be approved by an authorized translator here in Paraguay. No such person exists.
I have been in touch with Erica at the Swedish Consulate in Asuncion.
According to Erica, she can not stamp the papers.
She says the authorities here are "crazy" and has offered me to see a lawyer.
Which I find very strange.
I wonder now if you have any solution to my problem.
Or if I had better give up plans to emigrate to Paraguay.
