If a married couple move to jordan is it possible for the wife to get a job if she wants? or does she need a work permit? The fact that i will be working in jordan on a work permit will that entiltle her to work to if she wants? Are there any restrictions on the kind of employment she could do?

Jordan: SALARY AQABA AND STANDARD OF LIVING:

I have been offered a job in Aqaba on 3800 JOD per month tax free. On top of that I will recieve free housing and a car. Is this a good salary for jordan? I will be coming with my wife, no kids. We would like to eat out 3/4 times a week and both join a hotel gym and get cable TV/Sky. How much would a gym cost per month? restarant average prices for 2? Considering this information do you thibk we could easily save 1800 jod a month? any help appreciated.
