Canada: Immigration visa for Accountant:

I work as a Financial Accountant and have been able to secure temporary assignments relatively easily in Vancouver, B.C., especially between January and April (tax season). I suggest you start with Chartered Accountants and General Accountants and also look at CGA website.

I'm from Cape Town and now live in Vancouver, B.C. which has a mild climate. Life is great and British Columbia is so beautiful. Feeling safe takes some getting used to ... it's a freedom quite difficult to describe.

Canada: Getting job in Canada from outside Canada:

The majority would not consider you if you are not authorized to work in Canada, but once you are here it will be easier. I don't have much faith in those job sites since spam jobs are managing to find their way onto the internet. I approach potential employers direct and my job success has been pretty good.
