Hungary: Question for you all:

We are considering buying a small vineyard in Hungary. Would this also aid in gaining citizenship and residency requirements fulfilled? Thanks! Have a grand week there!

Hungary: All the personal arguments here:

Can you folks that want to argue, disagree strongly etc. KINDLY do so via personal messages available here? Please. This is supposed to be helpful to ALL the Ex Pats interested in, Living in, concerned with Hungarian living. Stress is on the HELPFUL part, not argumentative, contradictory etc. Simple facts work well enough I think. ALL countries have their quirks, oddities and all that. That said, Hungary is Hungary. IT is NOT the Untied States, the U.K. nor Australia or any other country. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. That is the best thing to remember. Listen, watch and learn, then act as you think and feel will accomplish your goals best and quietest.

Hungary: Question of timeframe stated:

It was posted that there is a belief that to get out of the US now if possible. Due to the fact that the next 36 months is going to make it impossible for any of us to leave. WHY that SPECIFIC amount of time? AND WHY the thought of impossibility of leaving after that? Curious over this side of the pond why that is thought. Thanks.

Hungary: Hungary - a weak link??:

From what little I know of politics in Hungary and eEurope in general I can say little about any of this. BUT, it does strike me as odd, that anyone does not notice that on one hand Hitler is condemned for his tactics of take overs of other nations. they sited they were protecting German Citizens, so they HAD to do this to protect them. Seems that is exactly the tactics used now by Russia Putin, but no one has the balls to say it out loud. It appears there is an Iron Curtain of another sorts descending and eyes are averted again. Just an observation from afar.

Hungary: Happy New Year!:

A Happy New Years' to everyone! Slow at getting my Greetings sent I know. I hope you all enjoyed it and may you enjoy many more healthy, happy and prosperous ones to come!

Hungary: if Hungary is that bad...?:

peddington, if Hungary is that bad, terrible, awful, horrid and whatever else it is you think of the country. WHY are YOU still there? Like the USA, if not happy there, I do not think they have you handcuffed to the country. Just sayin is all.

Hungary: Medical treatment (ongoing):

We are considering a move to Hungary on a permanent basis within the next year or so. My question is about medical care/treatment for present health issues of mine. Any Medical people on here that could address specifics? Require annual/bi-annual dilation of esophagus & scopes for further damages. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hungary: Question for all:

We are seriously considering a move to Hungary within the next couple of years. What is the laws for bringing weapons with you? Sidearms , rifles and shotguns, and the ammunition for them? Thanks I know it is an odd question and sensitive as well.

Hungary: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!:

Just a greetings to you all there and everywhere from us here! Peace

Hungary: Looking for employment:

Have you considered the American Embassy? Corporate hotel chain maybe? British Embassy as well. NO idea really am considering moving there myself. Best of luck to you!
