Laos: Moving and Working in Laos:

Hi Im an expat from the UK who has been living in the Middle East for 3 years. I am currently negotiating a contract to work in Laos and would like some information as to what things cost there, what there is to do socially, the quality of housing and services etc. Also what I am reading online says that higher earners pay 25% income tax is that correct? are there any other deductions made?
