We are interested in the same information. My husband and I would like to build a house in Nic. and we would like information on a container and how much are we allowed to bring. If you can share with us it would be greatly appreciated. I was just there and we are planing to go back in July. I am a native to Nic. but have lived in the US for 55 and hove lots of family but they do not have any idea of what US citizens have to do to relocate there. I'm so glad that you went to Dr. Mongalo in Managua. He is my uncle and he is wonderful. I live in the Us and I go back to Nic. just to have him do all my dental work.

Nicaragua: visiting Nicaragua:

I will be visiting Nicaragua and wanted to meet with expats. I will arrive in Managua June 23. I have lots of family but my husband would like to meet other Americans that have been living in Nic. for awhile. We are interested in moving to Granada or some other part of Nicaragua.

Nicaragua: I Wish I had Known... Before Moving to Nicaragua:

I was just in Nicaragua and I traveled all over. I was never robbed. You do have to be alert like in any large city but I don't think it is a big problem.
