Brazil: Xenophobia in Brazil.:
I don't know why people are saying brazilians love Americans. This is not the first time I have heard that a Brazilian says negative things about a mericans and it won't be the last. Of course they're jealouse there country six.
80 percent of the population uses the pubic health care system because they can't afford private insurance.
there are no screens
Potholes the size of trucks
It take 3 hours to drive 10 minutes
Their homes have no heat
The government steals all their money
An iPad costs a small fortune
The quality of their products suck
The taxes are higher than the. US and you get shi::y public service.
The infrastructure sucks
The cops kill civilians with impunity
Good luck getting justice, the place is disorganized the cops couldn't figure out who done it if the person did it in front of them.
They have wastebaskets in public bathrooms filled with ------- covered tissue, because you can't flush the toilet. Hepatitis anyone?
A huge chunk of the population lives in slums off grid.
I could go on......I feel bad for them...bad luck being born there
Brazil: Giving Birth in Brazil:
If you have a baby in Brazil you can get permanent visa status and papers through the fact you have a baby.
Brazil: Southern Brazil:
I am looking for expats who are living in the South of Brazil preferably Parana. If you are out their I would love to chat with you. I am an American who will soon be moving to Parana. Hope to find you.
Brazil: Looking for people from Parana/South of Brazil:
Hi I hardly find anyone who lives in the south of Brazil anywhere in these forums.
I will be relocating to Cascavel Parana. I am looking for information about good hospitals in Cascavel Parana and good schools if anyone knows (or knows someone I can get in touch with).
I would also welcome any info on just the day to day life I have read all I can on the internet.
Thanks in advance
Brazil: Parana or Santa Catarina:
That is what I have read and heard as well. South of Brazil has the highest standard of living and the lowest crime. There are more Europeans settled there. Its funny because I am confused by the fact that hardly ever hear of expats that move to the south considering it is highly advanced and ahead of most of Brazil
Brazil: How bad is the crime thing, really?:
The fact is the question is not suppose to be based on personal experience. This question is fact based. Its a statistical question.
So those people who say crime happens everywhere that statement actually means nothing and proves nothing. The question is does all crime get reported. Brazil seems to report crime. And how much violet crime happens in a city per 100.000 people. That is how you figure out who has more crime or not. And some cities have more crime than others period.
Brazil is a country that has more crime than the United States that is a statistical fact its not subjective. Look it up. Different government agencies report crimes statistics by country.
With that said Rio, has the worst, then Sao Paulo. The south of Brazil has less crime even in their cities compared to northern Brazl.
But this question can not be answered by personal experience.
