Ecuador: Salinas n Lovin it!:
I love reading that type of post :-)
My husband and I are going to be in Salinas for 3 weeks in July and are looking forward to it!
Ecuador: shopping for certain items:
Rebe,
Wow, you are so lucky that your house sold so fast! We put ours on the market last week, and I am sure hoping we get it sold before summer.
I am happy for you, and a bit envious :-)

Ecuador: If you arrive on a 90 visa, are you able to apply for a resident visa and stay in Ecuador while its being processed?:
Dana,
I apologize in advance if this question was already asked before, but I can't remember...
Here it is: if we visit Ecuador in July for 3 weeks, can we come again before the end of the year (still in 2012)?
In other words: is there a limit to the number of times a person can enter/exit the country within a 6 months period, and within the same year as well?
Thanks!
Chantal
Ecuador: interest rates:
So, if you want to invest 50K, you better divide it in two different banks. Right?
Ecuador: Health Insurance Cost in Ecuador:
Ebfarkas,
By " $130/month for both of us" do you meant $130 total, or $130 for each of you?
Thanks!
Ecuador: health insurance for old farts:
Very informative, and encouraging, Silverwater.
Thanks!!!!
Ecuador: U.S. Tax dollars at work in Ecuador:
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
I guess democracy is just about dead, then :-(
Ecuador: New Procedures to Register Visas:
Canadian
an US citizens are not required to obtain a visa to travel to Ecuador if it is less than 90 days. However, they must bring a passport with them that is valid for at least the next six months
If you are planning to stay in Ecuador for more than 90 days and up to 180 days, you need to apply for a tourist visa 12-IX.
Ecuador: Christmas dinner at Ristorante di Gabriela:
Oh! How I envy thosethat live in salinas.
How lucky they are :-))
Ho! Ho!Ho!
Ecuador: Frusttrated waiting to Escape:
Uncle Dave,
While I sympathize with your plight, I feel that you may consider some anger management before escaping the US.
Nobody wants a newcomer bringing all that anger with them.
That's a recipe for disaster.
