Russia: New and looking for some advice.:
Hello everyone,
I'm quite new to using this website, I'm currently testing the water and seeing what is available.
I've recently returned from a month in Russia visiting a very close friend, I spent most of my time in St Petersburg, but also travelled to Moscow and various other areas between. It was my second trip to Russia after being invited by my internet friend, we're now very close. The city was amazing, breath taking, yet not intimidating and overwhelming. I was so impressed by everything (except the way the cars are driven and parked!).
I'm wondering what work is available for new comers to St Petersburg. I currently work for a well established bank but have always worked in customer services, I'm very friendly, outgoing and enjoy the challenges that life provides. I would be looking for an English speaking position due to only having learnt a handful of Russian. I have always had very hands on approach to my work style; I'm very dedicated and loyal.
I believe I can arrange my own accommodation, but I really would need help with arranging a visa.
Anyone with an experience or possible idea's replying to this would be fantastic.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Chris.
Russia: skype communications with those willing to improve Russian language skills:
Greetings Oxana,
I'm fairly new to this website and I'm looking for ways to learn as much as possible about Russia and the Russian language. I would be very interested with this proposal if it still stands?
Please reply here and I'll provide you with my skype and msn details.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards, Chris.
