Luxembourg: Shall I move to Luxembourg?:

Hello there, I am mulling over a job offer in Luxembourg, and am considering whether I should accept it and move from London to Luxembourg. I am finding it a tough decision, as I will be leaving behind everything I am familiar with (and a great city) and going to a country that is very different and where I don't know anyone. Any friendly words of encouragement (or otherwise!) would be appreciated, such as is it easy to meet new people in Lux, is there a lot to do for a single person (I sense it is a very small quiet place?), etc. Many thanks Keb
