Tanzania: Mbeya:

I was at Mbeya School between 1955-1959. We lived in Dar & my father ('Bunny' Buckley) was in the East African Post & Telegraph. I went to Oyster Bay Primary in Dar and the one thing I remember about Mbeya was the River Gardens. Those 5 month terms were LONG and as a 7 year old they seemed even longer. I now live in Sydney Australia.

Hi Chris, I went to Mbeya in 1955-1959. I lived in Oyster Bay in Dar (went to Oyster Bay Primary) & my father was 'Bunny' Buckley who worked for the East African Post & Telegraphs. We then moved to Nairobi. I know live in Sydney Australia. Have fond memories of Mbeya...espcially the River Gardens. Those 5 month terms were long and I think I was in Stanley House. Colin
