Greece: Move to Greece?:

My ex-fiance and I were together for 4 years. We got engaged a little over a year and and then six months before we were supposed to get married, he decided that he needed to move back to Greece. We almost broke up but then we came up with a 5 year plan of moving back to Greece. We then took a trip to Greece this summer, and then he was supposed to come back in August to finish up with college. Well, about a month ago he decided that he couldn't wait 5 years to go back to Greece. He decided he needs to go back in a year and he cannot budge on it. So basically we can only be together if I move there. I am so confused. He is convinced that he could make me happy there, but I am not so sure. I like Greece for vacation, but I don't know if that means I will like living there. What do you think? Are there any Americans who moved to Greece for their fiance? How did it turn out? Keep in mind I have a family who really does not want me to move so far away. I am trying to make the decision for myself but they keep giving me their opinion too.
