you are asking yourself the wrong question...your wife should ask on basis of her income a permit...that of course should be high enough about 1500 euro.....as well since you got permit B normally you re allowed to find another empoyer

retirement immigration is not evident in belgium; yet not impossible. immigration in principle is based on family relations or employment. simply retirement creates at times eyebrows, and some may suspect you simply trying to flee shoddy us healthcare. i m not an american, yet i think you will have a good life here. belgium consists of two different cultures , so i can only talk about the one i m living in, the flemish part. individual liberty is quite extreme here, yet most flemish are more reserved than the average american.
