Norway: Moving to Stavanger:

Hi everyone My husband and I have been living close to Trondheim for the past six and a half years... Due to the change in the oil industry we will be moving to Stavanger later this year. I am looking to make contact with anyone to help us with advice on our choice of areas to find accommodation....we have two dogs, like socialising and don't want to be too rural while having some 'tur' facilities close by. We are both English, in our 50's and are looking forward to making new friends

Norway: looking for a crock pot / slow cooker:

I am from the UK and also looked for crock pot when we moved to Norway in 2009..... with no luck. So ended up buying one when I was back in England for a visit and flying back here with it!!! It is obviously not an item that is used in Norway.
