Costa Rica: Intro info for going to CR:
I am American citizen. I would like to live in Costa Rica near any ocean for at least 6 months. Do I only need a passport or do I need a visa. I am looking for others on disability with health challenges that have lived in Costa Rica and have advice on decent towns to stay in. Thank you
Brazil: My 90 days are up:
American in Brasil. On Disability and here to try and improve my health. I did not get on my flight to return and have not checked in with Federal Police about extending my visa to 180 days. I may just syat here, but if I have to go back to USA for a short time I know about the maximum fine, which is cool with me. BUt I am sure I will want to return, will there be an issue with me being allowed to come back to Brasil. I am sure this is where I want to stay.
Brazil: i need info and friends.....:

Brazil: On SSDI but living in Brazil:
Has anyone notified Soc Sec when having a long visit in Brazil? Wondering if everything can go smoothly. I do not need my check mailed to me, I just need to do what ever it is they want.
Brazil: ATM convenience:
I am going to be in Guriri which is about 14 km from Sao Mateus. Since these are not the huge tourist areas, I was wondering if using my Visa ATM card would pose any issues. I have heard that in the rural areas finding an ATM machine for foreign cards may be a problem?
