Hey everyone We are currently volunteering in La Esperanza and will be needing a place to stay in the next week or so when our stint will be up. We are hoping to find a place/room in Huanchaco so if you know of anything please let me know. We will be in Trujillo for 3-4 more months.

Colombia: Relocating to Colombia from South Korea:

Hey there everyone Just putting it out there as we are trying to get as many 'helpful hints' as we can before the big move to Colombia. I'm a kiwi and my English/Australian husband will be making the move from the ROK at the end of this year. We are looking @ moving to Medellin after a couple of days in Bogota. Is it possible to just rock up and find jobs or would we be best to find jobs prior to coming? Our main reason for heading to South America is so I can brush up on my spanish skills I'm doing another undergrad paper and one of my majors is Spanish. Both hubby and I will want to do a language course for the first month we are there. Looking forward to hearing about your current experiences and advice on life in Colombia Cheers
