Any idea what happens if someone passed all courses for MSc but fails to submit dissertation in time? Would he get Postgraduate Diploma?

Few years back I moved to Mumbai and shipped all my belongings. When I went to the port to get them released, there were too many agents trying to get the business from you. It was mind boggling. The customs facilities were horrible. I got my stuff without paying anything- HOWEVER, there was some HAFTA CHARGE. Could not believe this. I wondered if I was watching DEEWAR movie.

India: Duration of time one can spend in India:

It works like this: If you hold PIO Card then 182 days at a stretch. For extension you can go to the nearest Foreigners Registration office (Usually headed by a Police Commissioner) and get the extension before 182 days. I understand that with the new document that became available- one can stay as long as s/he pleases.

With Indians- this is a big problem: they never tell the price/rent when listing their property. Why can not these guys become more professional?
