Ukraine: Advise sought - owning land in Ukraine:

Any expats out there who have bought, recieved or inherited land in Ukraine? Anyone out there who have built a house in Ukraine? I'm about to marry my Ukrainian fiance (in the UK), and we are going to recieve a plot of land in Lugansk as a wedding present from her father. I don't know any details about the land yet, as its a "surprise". Before I (or I shoud say my wife and I) take ownership of the land, I need to fully understand what I'm "getting myself into", with respects to contracts, legal proceedings, red tape, fees, registrations, taxes... just to accept the gift and become the land owner. (Eventually, building on the land may be a possibility, buts thats a few years down the line so we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.) What are my rights etc. with respects to being a foreigner? Anyone with similar experiences, I'd be interested in hearing from you. Best regards Mike
