Cyprus: Peyia, Paphos:

We are moving to Peyia next summer. My two children are inerested in finding ways of making friends. They are boys aged 13 & 16. My youngest son is very interested in Sea Cadets here in England - does anyone know of any organisasions that offer similar things in Cyprus? Any info that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks tracey

Cyprus: 29/8/02:

Hi willow We have purchased a plot of land just outside Paphos this year and are having a house built by a local builder. He was recommended by a close friend who has bought a house from him. We went out to Cyprus in May and contacted quite a few Estate Agents and developers (via the internet) first. They were all very helpful and met us at our holiday appartment and took us to view properties. The big developers like Leptos are much more expensive than the smaller ones!! We are planning to move to Paphos next summer and are going out to see how things are progressing in November. If you would like any contact numbers for our developer in Cyprus please let me know. We have found an English solicitpr in Paphos. The solicitor fees are quite high though (this applies to all solicitors in Cyprus) between 800 - 1000 Cyprus pounds. Good luck tracey

Cyprus: moving to cyprus:

Hi We too are moving to Peyia next summer. We have bought a house which will be finished next Feb/March. We have been advised to set up Sky digital here in England and take the equipment to Cyprus with us. I have been told that we will need a 3 metre dish when we get out there!! If you find out anymore I would be very greatful if you would let me know. Good luck tracey
