Jamaica: Canadian Citizen moving to Jamaica:

Hello, I am moving to JA from Toronto and would like to know if this is even possible. I am not Jamaican nor do I have parents who are Jamaican born, my boyfriend is and he lives and works in JA. I've heard that I just buy a 3mth ticket and have it extended but have to come back to T.O. every 6 months, is this right? Is there any way of me finding work there or does that entail work permits that are impossible to get? Please advise, much appreciated.

Jamaica: Separation Counselling and Divorce:

If a husband and wife are in marriage counselling but the marriage is over and the husband wants out, will he be penalized if he leaves the marriage home? Will he lose any chance of having his children? He is a responsible and loving father, he is the breadwinner of the home and his children adore him. The wife is being spiteful and taking his money. What are his rights as a father, in Jamaica?

I am a Cdn Citizen moving to Jamaica to live with my boyfriend who is a Jamaican Citizen. Is this possible? We have to wait for his divorce which will probably take a while. Can I work, do I have to return to Toronto every couple of months???

Are the separation and divorce laws much different in Jamaica than CAnada? Is there a longer process to file for divorce and what are the rights for fathers when filing?

I am planning on moving to Jamaica from Canada to live with my not yet divorced boyfriend. What do I need to know in terms of length of stay and working. We will be married but we are awaiting his divorce.
