Jamaica: Agriculture-Crop Farming:

I would greatly appreciate your advice and support in achieving a life long family dream. I am living in the UK along with my brothers and sister, our mother and the rest of the family lives in the family home in Jamaica (St Mary). The plan is to make use of some of the family land that consists of five and a half acres to grow agricultural produce for sale. The farm has already proven to be successful as it produces a wide variety of crops on a regular basis, thanks to the help of a family friend who happens to be a farmer. The farm grows at the moment: Hot Peppers, Tomatoes, Carrots, Cucumbers, Cabbages, Bananas, Peanuts, Sweet & Irish Potatoes, Plantain, Sugar Cane, Pumpkin, Cassava, Corn, Coconut, Bread Fruit, Apples, Mangos, Melons, Yam, Lettuce, Okra tobacco and more. The objective is to develop a product based company whose goal is to increase production efficiency and develop a sustainable business able to survive of its own cash flow. It is also intended to produce enough agricultural goods to get involved in and help support the Government initiatives to increase produce in Jamaica as stated in the Jamaican Agriculture Sub-Sector Strategy 2010 for Fruits & Vegetables, Herbs & Spices Roots & Tubers. I would be grateful of any support and advice you can offer and look foreword to hearing from you very soon.
