Costa Rica: tennis in costa rica:
A former accomplished tennis player--USTA and club 4 to 4.5--and living near Grecia, Costa Rica. I have found only hard courts, no clay/Har-Tru. Very near to our home are two small clubs with covered courts and most always with one available. Retired now and with some joint issues I only play doubles but do enjoy getting out and hitting a bit for casual singles play. Steve
Costa Rica: car import paperwork:
We recently imported a Toyota through Charles Zeller, ShipToCostaRica@aol.com. We experience terrific customer service on all the paperwork process. Likely he would handle just the latter for you OR give you a good recommendation. Buena suerta.
Costa Rica: Central Valley:
Greetings. The central valley is large and offers a range of altitudes and temperatures. Rainfall varies and seems more extreme country-wide this year and last. Having visited many times over 5 years, and now living here full time, we have chosen the Grecia area for climate, services, etc. We own a lovely coffee finca on which we plan to build with a few other families. So we are way sold on the area. Husband Steve loves tennis and we have new local clubs nearby. Call to chat: from USA 970-237-4551 or local 2494-7459
Costa Rica: concerns about moving to Costa Rica:
Hello. The first time we came to Costa Rica, 7 years ago, it was with cash for an earnest. Picked our land near Grecia (cooler and with lower prices than in Atenas) within the first week and remain pleased. Finally here full time we rent and plan our construction. We are getting fluent in Spanish and find it all a wonderful adventure.
