Algeria: Advice about finding a basic flat or room in Algiers:

Hi - I am an Irish woman married to an Algerian and we live in Spain. I am interested in finding a cheap and basic apartment or room in Algiers for my husband's brother for two to three months. He has just moved back to Algiers and needs somewhere cheap to stay for a few months. The family home is over-crowded. We can pay in advance. I have been told that it is very difficult to find short-term rental. Any advice or contacts would be very apreciated. Thank you.
