China: Outings/trips in the Beijing area:

Hi I am new to the forum. Moved to China 4 months ago currently living in Langfang which is about 45 minutes from Beijing. I am interested in connecting with people in the Beijing area for outing/day trips etc. like hiking the Great Wall or just tour of the region etc. I was in Beijing in 99 and noticed a expat hiking club notice at the Hilton. China: SHEKOU/SHENZHEN rental costs:

Not a direct question rental question Mike but how is the schooling situation in Shekou, we have a 13 and a 15 years old and may be moving down to Shekou soon.

China: Anyone getting bored in Beijing???:

If you are bored in Beijing try Langfang. This town is so slow the only thing exciting is go to MacDonalds' every night! ...and there is only one! So if this is not a girl/girl thing do count me in.
