I'm a 63 year old single male. Recently retired from a career in local public transit as a coach operator. I have been working part-time since my retirement as a tour bus driver working for several local employers to keep busy. I am exploring the thought of moving to Central or South America to retire. I love the beach, snorkeling, music, photography, I play the guitar and piano for fun not at all professional.

Costa Rica: Driving from United States to Costa Rica:

Hi All, I have a girl friend in Costa Rica would it be reasonable to believe that I could drive to Costa Rica and not destroy my new VW Golf TDI? I'm not in a hurry? I plan on staying for 90 days at a time and then leaving the country for a few days and then returning. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Al
