Australia: Moving to Melbourne with a young son:

Hi We will be moving to Melbourne in the near future as soon as our PR comes through. We are currently in Centurion, SA. I am on a fact finding mission with regards to where to live, our son will 5 in a few months thus we would like an area with good schools but not to far from the cbd. I am also looking for an area where horses may be kept as I train young horses for dressage. An area with acreage and good schools will be stunning. Any suggestions?
