Guatemala: Searching for U.S. style home:

I am looking for a nice place to live at in Guatemala . I have been to the capital, Baja Verapaz , Chiquimula , Zacapa , Alta Verapaz . I'm looking for a place that is comparable to the U.S. I've heard that Antigua is beautiful . If anyone knows of a place that is somewhat like the U.S. Please let me know . Thanks.

Guatemala: Cost of living:

I went to visit my mother -in -law a couple of moths ago in guatemala . She lives in Baja Verapaz . I spent the total of $100 u.s. in 10 days while I was there . I went out to eat about 3 times there and about twice in the capital . I also bought clothes, shoes , tolietries, etc.
