Brazil: Work visa question:

Hi, I am a new zealander and i have been with my brasilian partner for 4years. i have only just had to return home to my country due to that fact i was running out of time on my temp tourist visa and at both our faults didnt seriously look into my permanant or partnership visa for me for brasil. Since returning home i have been researching what i need to do, and getting advise for this site. Does anyone know if I can apply for a visa from my country? what are the all documents needed? and since im in NZ can my boyfriend send the documents on my behalf for me since he is still in brasil? this whole process is confusing and is a bit stressful, but if there is a will theres a way right?? Im also worried to hear that the brasilian government may make things more harder for me.. i left the country on good terms i never overstayed.. help???

Brazil: Moving to Fortaleza for 1 year:

Hi, Im not moving to Fortaleza but to Floriap SC. From my understanding I have to apply for partnership visa when I arrive in brasil (2 wks time) but i was told by friends that i should make sure I have letters from friends, work colleuges etc that can verfiy our relationship, also an updated passport, drivers licence. is this enough to have in order to apply for a partnership visa and am I on the right track in regards to my understanding of visa application???. My boyfriend & I have been together for 3 1/2 years. He has now moved back home &I will join him in 2 wks leaving my home country. Also i need to know what happens to non brasilians if we need to go doctors or medical care?? do we have to have insurance to be treated or visa?? will the cost for non brasilians be higher than brasilans or the same?? I dont know what i will do for work when i get there but I hope to achieve work when I arrive in Floripa.. As long as someone wants to hire a gringa? if anyone has helpful info for me as well i appriecate your feedback. Many Thanks

Brazil: Looking for a job in Brazil:

Hi I will be looking for a job once I get into Brasil - 10 more days till I leave my home country. Anyway from what my impressions are is that I have to wait til i get there, hopefully someone will employ me for the summer break. i will apply for a visa & work permit once I arrive in Brasil. I have brasilian partner so I will apply for partnership visa. I will study online a TESOL qualification this will qualify me to teach english.. so hopefully I can find work soon.. if anyone else has other tips or advise I would really appreciate any feedback.. Hi, I am from New Zealand and will be moving to Floripa in FEB 2012 with my brasilian b.f. I have been to floripa previously for a holiday and loved it!! I need help finding a job & where to upskill on my current portuguese. I will study TESOL teaching english to adults & tourism english, & hope this will give me a chance to gain employment.
