Austria: Graz or Vienna?:

We are looking to retire and move to Austria in 2-3 years. We're trying to decide between Graz and Vienna. Vienna is very nice but has a lot of tourists. Graz is smaller and doesn't seem as touristy. Any preferences from ex-pats over there?
